PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Clear scope. Clear responsibilities.

Know who is helping you, what the service includes, what it costs, and which decisions remain with the authorities.

The professional behind the engagement

Our named contact is John David. Before accepting paid immigration advice or representation, confirm the individual’s current authorization and that it covers the work you need. A company name or website alone does not establish professional authorization.

We identify the responsible person and service scope in the engagement process. Tribunal proceedings, court work, Quebec-specific matters, recruitment, and other specialist services may need separately authorized professionals.

Written scope and fees

Sending an enquiry does not create a paid engagement. Before paid work begins, the agreement must identify the services, responsibilities, fees, payment terms, and relevant cancellation or refund provisions.

Government fees and third-party costs, including tests, translations, medical examinations, credential assessments, and tuition, are separate unless expressly included. A change in scope must be discussed rather than assumed.

Accurate information and realistic outcomes

We do not promise a visa, admission, employment, nomination, sponsorship, or permanent residence. Government authorities, institutions, and employers make their own decisions. Published processing times are estimates, not delivery commitments.

You must provide complete, accurate information and disclose relevant application history. Do not send altered documents or ask anyone to conceal a refusal. Review submissions made in your name and keep your records.

Referrals and potential conflicts

A referral is not a guarantee of service or acceptance. Ask about the provider’s qualifications, fees, and terms directly. Any applicable referral fee, school commission, or commercial relationship should be disclosed before you make a decision.

We do not sell job offers, LMIAs, sponsors, or immigration places. Employer introductions must relate to legitimate recruitment and follow applicable licensing and fee rules.

Questions or concerns

Raise service concerns at hello@pathca.com. If your concern involves a regulated professional, you may also use the relevant regulator’s complaints process. Do not delay seeking independent advice when a deadline or your immigration status is at risk.
